Chrissi Ardito

Tap & Musical Theater

Born in Brooklyn, Chrissi found her love of dance at age 4. At 18, she became a certified dance instructor through Dance Educators of America. Before she was teaching full-time, her many years of dance training led her to performance in dance companies, theme parks, around the world on cruise ships, and finally professional theatre, where she joined the Actors’ Equity Association. As a union member, Chrissi performed such roles as Peggy Sawyer in “42nd St.”, Anita in “West Side Story”, Morales in “A Chorus Line”. After studying under Broadway choreographers, Chrissi then jumped into choreography herself and now, aside from teaching, she choreographs Broadway veterans at professional regional theatres across South Florida. For her work, Chrissi has received 2 Carbonell awards, 5 Curtain Up awards and a Silver Palm award. You can Google Chrissi for more! Lastly, Chrissi would like to say how grateful she is for all her blessings, and would like to thank Dana and Nikki for giving her the opportunity to join the wonderful Ballet Elite family.
